- Clothing: Women wear many covering layers and often scarves and headdresses. Men wear a Turkish şalvar and often a loose coat.
- Etiquette: If visiting a home, bring a gift, (maybe something from back home!) Drinking alcohol may be avoided due to religious reasons. Elderly are highly respected, offer up your seat if you get the chance.
- Names: When greeting in a formal setting use a title and their first or surname.
- Don't: talk above hushed tones when visiting a Mosque. PDA is frowned upon.
