- Clothing: Western. In business situations, dark and simple formal clothing.
- Etiquette: Organization is highly regarded, as is punctuality. Business and personal life are considered separate entities. Shaking hands is the established form of greeting. Tipping your waiter is important, (5% to 10%), and you should leave a larger tip around Christmas.
- Names: Use a title and the persons last name when addressing people, especially elderly people, ("Sie").
- Don't: jaywalk, as you will be fined. Don't reference or show symbols from the Third Reich regime, (not sure why you would want to).
